FPGA & Engineering Software Tools

HDL work, hardware acceleration, and the internal tools that make an engineering team faster.

Some problems are only solvable in fabric. Others are only solvable by giving the team a better tool. Both tend to be postponed until they are urgent, and both are cheaper to address before that point.

What the work is

HDL design and verification

RTL development with a testbench that means something, so that a change late in a programme is not a gamble.

Hardware acceleration

Moving signal and image processing into fabric where the latency or throughput requirement cannot be met in software.

Interface and protocol implementation

Bus interfaces, sensor front-ends and timing-critical protocol logic implemented where the timing can actually be guaranteed.

Test rigs and internal tooling

The fixture that turns a two-hour manual test into a two-minute automated one. Rarely on a roadmap, frequently the highest-return work available.

Build and CI for hardware-adjacent teams

Pipelines that handle firmware artefacts, hardware-in-the-loop tests and long build times, rather than assuming a pure software project.

Where an engagement usually starts

For acceleration work, a feasibility assessment on whether the requirement is achievable in your target device and what resources it would consume. For tooling, usually a short discovery on where the team actually loses time.

What we do not do

We do not take on ASIC design. Our FPGA work is at the board and system level, not silicon.

Bring us the challenge

The one that has been handed back, sits between two suppliers, or nobody can say is possible yet. A short call costs you nothing and you will speak to one of our consultants.

Engineer to engineer. No handoffs.
