What it is

A cloud CCTV platform you sell as your own

The whole stack — the on-site edge gateway, the multi-tenant cloud, the AI and the apps — delivered as a product that carries your brand. Instead of paying a platform vendor a monthly fee per camera and reselling someone else’s software, you own the platform and keep the margin.

01

Branded edge gateway

An on-site gateway carrying your brand: discovers cameras over ONVIF, ingests RTSP (H.264/H.265), records locally through an outage and connects out to the cloud securely — no inbound ports on the customer network.

02

Multi-tenant cloud VMS

Organisations, sites, cameras, users and roles; live view, timeline playback, evidence export and a full audit trail — one platform serving all your customers, each isolated from the next.

03

Edge AI analytics

Person and vehicle detection, intrusion, line-crossing, loitering and tamper — run at the edge so you upload events, not 24/7 streams, and cost-per-camera stays predictable as you grow.

04

Web, mobile & engineer portals

A customer web portal, iOS and Android apps for video and alerts on the move, and an engineer portal for commissioning and device health — all under your name.

05

Secure & GDPR by design

Per-device identity, mTLS, signed OTA updates and no default credentials; retention, deletion, access control and audit built in because the platform processes identifiable people.

06

Yours to own and resell

Project-specific source, models and infrastructure on your own cloud accounts and repositories — no per-camera software licence to DevSpark, so the recurring revenue is yours.

Rent vs own

Every other cloud platform rents you cameras. This one you own.

The leading VSaaS platforms are all someone else’s software, billed to you per camera, forever — and the closed ones leave the hardware useless the day the subscription lapses. Here is the same estate seen two ways.

Renting a cloud platformOur platform — you own it
Per-camera costA monthly SaaS licence for every camera, for as long as you operate — the vendor’s revenue, indexed to your growth. No per-camera software licence to DevSpark. You run it on your own cloud and keep the margin.
CamerasFrequently proprietary hardware; on the closed platforms the cameras stop working if the subscription lapses.Any ONVIF / RTSP camera you choose — vendor-independent by design, never held hostage to a subscription.
Whose brandThe platform vendor’s badge on your customer’s wall and in their app.Your brand across the gateway, portals and apps. Adding a customer brand is configuration, not a code fork.
The customerThe account, the data and the relationship sit with the vendor. You hold the customer accounts and set your own pricing, end to end.
The asset you buildEvery camera you connect grows someone else’s recurring revenue and deepens your dependence on them. That same growth is yours — a recurring-revenue book you own outright.
IP & exitLocked to the vendor’s platform and roadmap; integrations are often gated behind partner agreements. You own the source, models and infrastructure, with an open documented API. Take it in-house any time.

Why own it

Rent a platform and you build someone else’s asset

Every camera you connect to a rented platform grows the vendor’s recurring revenue and deepens your dependence on them. Own the platform and that same growth is yours.

Your brand

The gateway, the portals and the apps carry your name — not a third party’s badge on your customer’s wall.

Your customers

You hold the customer accounts and set your own pricing. The relationship is yours, end to end.

Your recurring revenue

Sell to unlimited customers and sites with no per-camera SaaS rent flowing out to a platform vendor.

Your IP

You own the platform and can take it in-house or bring in another team at any time. No lock-in, ever.

Who it’s for

Security installers and integrators ready to own their platform

If you install CCTV at scale and want a recurring-revenue, cloud-and-AI proposition under your own brand — rather than reselling a competitor’s SaaS — The platform is built for you. We engineer the hard, differentiated half (the edge gateway, ONVIF interoperability, edge AI and device-to-cloud security) and resource the cloud and apps as one accountable team.

How you get it

A fixed-scope discovery before anyone commits to a build

01

Discovery & working proof

A fixed-price stage that turns your requirements into a costed, buildable plan — and proves the hard chain end to end on real cameras before the build commitment.

02

Build, staged and visible

Edge gateway, then multi-tenant cloud MVP, then AI and apps — each a defined deliverable, run in Azure DevOps with your own account so you see progress at every stage.

03

Launch & grow

A hardened, billable platform under your brand, ready to sell — then expansion modules (ANPR, integrations, BI) as your customer base grows.

Common questions

Straight answers on the ownership model

Do I have to rip out and replace my customers’ cameras?

No. The platform is vendor-independent by design: the edge gateway discovers cameras over ONVIF and ingests RTSP, so it works with the ONVIF/RTSP cameras your customers already own and whatever you choose to install next. That is deliberate — it is the opposite of the proprietary-camera platforms that only work with their own hardware.

Is there a per-camera fee to DevSpark?

No. There is no per-camera SaaS rent flowing back to us. The platform runs on your own cloud accounts under your own brand, and the recurring revenue you earn from your customers is yours. We are paid to engineer and deliver the platform, not to meter your cameras.

Who owns the code, the models and the cloud?

You do. The project-specific source, the AI models and the infrastructure live in your own repositories and cloud accounts. You can take it in-house, or bring in another team, at any point. There is no lock-in — which is precisely what a rented platform cannot offer, because its whole model depends on it.

How is this different from reselling Verkada, Eagle Eye or Milestone?

Those are someone else’s platform. When you resell them you are a channel for their brand and their per-camera or per-device licence, and the customer relationship ultimately belongs to them. Ours is the opposite: it is your platform, your brand and your customers, built once and owned by you.

What do you build, and what do we run?

We engineer the hard, differentiated half — the edge gateway, ONVIF interoperability, edge AI and device-to-cloud security — and resource the cloud VMS and apps as one accountable team. You run the business on top: your brand, your customers, your pricing, your growth. We can also support and extend it, but you are never dependent on us to.

Is it GDPR-compliant and secure enough for real deployments?

Security and privacy are designed in, not bolted on: per-device identity and mTLS, signed OTA updates, no default credentials, and retention, deletion, access control and a full audit trail because the platform processes identifiable people. We are ONVIF members and Cyber Essentials certified, and hold security-cleared engineers for secure-site work.
